Synopsis: Maggie Landings (Natalie Portman) is a rich hot famous model. However, when she hits 30 no one wants her anymore and she falls off the face of the Earth. Everything she has got reposed and her fiancé, Calvin (Channing Tatum), dumps her. With nowhere to go she goes back to her family who she hasn’t seen for years. Her father, Gregg Landings (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), wants nothing to do with her. Her mother, Sharon Landings (Charlize Theron), has terminal cancer and spends her final days staring out the window with a live-in nurse aka Mom #2, Dr. Grey Wilson (Jennifer Tilly). Her gender confused brother, Chris Landings (Paul Walker), is getting beaten up and threatened out of town. He spends most of his time locked in his room.
Most people that she knew have left town except her old boyfriend she dumped harshly to climb up to fame, Kyle Owens (James Franco) and her best friend that she sabotaged so she could become a model instead of her, Sandy Tremler (Mandy Moore).
Maggie realizes soon there is little to her mundane horrible life. To make matters worse she thinks her father is having an affair with Sharon’s best friend, Kat Yamning (Juliette Lewis).

Mandy Moore shines along side with Natalie Portman on this well crafted film.
