What the press would say:

Critics everywhere are hailing “A Revision of History” as the movie epic of the year. The story is a fictionalized account of what it would be like if whites were slaves and blacks were the dominant race during the 1800’s. “A Revision of History” features an ensemble cast with many stand out performances. Jake Gyllenhaal and Wentworth Miller (TV’s “Prison Break”) are amazing as two slaves who want to escape their cruel owner for a better life. Kirsten Dunst shines as Matthew’s pregnant wife. Just by looking in her eyes, the viewer sees the urgent sense of hope of escape and fear of getting caught at the same time, a remarkable task. She just wants what is best for her child. Taraji Henson is spectacular as Danielle Broussard; she risks everything to help educate Jim and Matthew and help them escape. Morgan Freeman and Regina King give the best performances of their careers as noble President Jackson and the conniving First Lady. Freeman is especially excellent when he confronts his wife about the assassination plans. Jamie Foxx is also quite good as the Vice President. Jude Law also gives a charismatic performance as Bradley Segarus, the white abolitionist who gives his life to stand up for what he believes in. The actors are also given an excellent screenplay to work with written by Richard Kelly. His interesting and unique screenplay is a shoo-in for Best Original Screenplay. If you see one film this year, make it “A Revision of History”.
